Everest Towers Student Accommodation
EER: 73
You and your housemates are living in a building that has an EER rating of 73 kWh/m2/year. An EER rating is a measure of the energy efficiency of a building. This means that each square metre of floor space in your accommodation uses 73 kilowatt-hours of electricity each year for heating, cooling and lighting.
If you want to calculate the total cost per student per annum with this figure you need to multiply it by four students, as each room is occupied by four people (two people share each bedroom). So:
73 x 4 = 296 kWh/student/annum
Sleeping up to 4 students per room
Each room houses up to four students, and each floor holds around 29 rooms. There are eight floors in total.
Each house accommodates between 12 and 20 students, with each house taking up one floor of accommodation. Each floor also contains one kitchen and one bathroom for every three rooms.
Shared kitchen and living area
You’ll have access to the shared kitchen and living area, which is fully equipped with everything you could need. The kitchen comes with a microwave and a range of pots and pans so that you can whip up your favorite dishes while staying in shape during your time at Everest Towers. There’s always room for dessert, too: our chocolatier stocks many varieties of ice cream, including mint chocolate chip and rocky road!
We keep the shared kitchen tidy for you by cleaning it regularly. If anything gets broken or damaged during your stay at Everest Towers, don’t worry—we’ll fix it as soon as possible! In fact, we hope our staff will be able to help with any issues or questions that arise during your stay here; just let us know if there’s anything that needs fixing around campus (and remember: we want everyone here to feel comfortable!).
LED TV in every room
LED TVs are energy efficient and have a better resolution than LCD TVs. They also have a better colour range and can be made thinner or lighter than LCD TVs.
Communal garden areas
The communal garden areas are a source of stress relief, which is why they’re there.
They’re also an excellent place to socialize and meet other students who have moved in, in the hope that they’ll start a conversation with you and you can make friends.
It’s nice to sit out when it’s sunny and enjoy some time alone, or take part in one of our many activities such as playing games or studying together.
CCTV for your safety and security
Our CCTV system is a great way to deter crime and help police with their investigations.
CCTV is well-recognized as a very effective tool for preventing crime, assisting with the apprehension of perpetrators and also providing evidence to support prosecutions. It can also be used as an invaluable tool in identifying terrorists or other threats to national security.
In addition to these important security functions, CCTV can also play a vital role in ensuring safety around your accommodation by monitoring access points.
Secure bicycle storage
- Secure bicycle storage facilities with bike racks, bike lockers and an on-site bicycle maintenance service
- Dedicated and secure bicycle parking facilities for residents
- Delivery service for any purchased bicycles, including a free delivery service of newly purchased bicycles to your apartment
- Bicycle rental bikes are available through the property management team for use during your stay at Everest Towers.
Fully equipped gymnasium, sauna, steam-room and Jacuzzi
On the 5th floor of Everest Towers, there is a fully equipped gymnasium where you can work out in a safe and friendly environment. The gym has an array of weights, cardio machines and other equipment that will help you stay fit when you’re not on campus.
The sauna, steam room and jacuzzi are available for all students to use – 24 hours a day! In addition to the facilities inside the building, there are also regular outdoor activities organized by our resident assistants (RAs) such as dodgeball tournaments or basketball leagues.
24 hour reception
The 24 hour reception is open from 7am to 11pm, seven days a week. It’s the first point of contact for residents and visitors alike and can be contacted via phone or email.
24 hour security guards patrol the property around the clock, ensuring that all residents feel safe in their surroundings. They are also on hand in an emergency situation and can be reached by calling 999.
24 hour maintenance staff are available at all times to fix issues such as broken lights or faulty appliances; however if you feel unsafe at any point during your stay please call 999 immediately.

The location of the Everest towers is not only convenient, but also offers great views of the city and its surroundings.
