Northwest University is a private, non-denominational university located in the city of Seattle. It was founded in 1971 and has since grown to become one of the nation’s premier Christian universities. Step 1: Begin the application process.

To begin your application, visit www.northwestuniversity.edu and click on the link for “Apply Now.” You will then be directed to a page where you can start filling out your personal information, including name, address, phone number and email address. The next step of filling out your personal information includes choosing your academic area of focus (Arts & Humanities; Business Administration; Communication & Media Studies; Criminal Justice & Law Enforcement; Education; Engineering Technology; Healthcare Management & Administration) as well as other fields that are not listed here but that might interest you. Once you have finished with all of this information at hand (it should not take longer than five minutes), submit it by clicking “Submit” in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Once submitted, congratulations! You have successfully completed the first step toward becoming an enrolled student at Northwest University!

Step 2: Submit your official high school transcript.

Once you’ve uploaded your transcript, you should receive a confirmation email from Northwest University. If the university doesn’t receive an official high school transcript within eight weeks of submitting your application, we’ll reach out to you directly and provide instructions on how to send one in by mail.

Please note: If your school does not have an online system for sending transcripts, call them and request that they send it immediately. If they refuse to do so or give any other reason why they can’t send it right away, contact us directly at [email protected] with proof of their refusal/reasoning and we will help get this sorted out!

Step 3: Submit your official college transcripts, if applicable.

Students that have attended college are required to submit their official transcripts from all universities and colleges they have attended.

• Official transcripts must be submitted directly from the institution to Northwest University’s Office of Admission.
• Make sure your name appears exactly as it appears on your application. Do not use nicknames or abbreviations on any documents sent to us (i.e., “John” instead of “Johnathan”).
• All official college/university transcripts should be sent in a sealed envelope with the school’s official seal, accompanied by a transcript cover sheet that includes: Your full name, campus address where you were last registered, date of birth, Social Security number or student ID number, type of degree earned (if applicable), major field(s) studied and dates attended at this institution (the most current being first), names of any previous institutions attended since high school graduation (including graduate work), if applicable; total number of credits earned; grade point average; date completed; if applicable—name(s) and address(es) where enclosures should be mailed after review by admissions staff

Step 4: Earn passing scores on the SAT or ACT.

• ACT score submission is optional. If you choose not to submit your ACT score, we will use the highest section scores and a SAT reasoning test math score of at least 500 (or an equivalent SAT combined math and critical reading score).
• SAT or ACT test dates: October 5, 2020; December 7 and 8, 2020; March 9 and 10, 2021; May 21, 2021; June 4 and 5, 2021.
• SAT or ACT test locations: You may take any exam at any location within the United States or Canada that has been approved by either organization (see https://sat.collegeboard.org/register/exam-dates-locations for details).
• SAT or ACT test fees: $70 for each college-admission exam (SAT Reasoning Test fee applies only if you choose to take both the SAT Reasoning Test with Essay component as well as one or more subject tests); $120 for each subject test ($80 per day in total) (Math Level I–III cost $60 per day in total). (ACT score submission is optional)

• What is the ACT?
• The ACT is a standardized test that you can take to assess your academic skills. It’s generally used for college admissions and placement, but some schools use it for different purposes. In some cases, the ACT may be required in order to apply for certain scholarships or programs. There are no prerequisites for taking this test; all students can take it regardless of their grade level or experience with standardized testing. You should register for an appointment at least six weeks before your desired test date. You’ll need this time to prepare both mentally and physically before taking the exam, which lasts approximately three hours and 45 minutes total (including breaks). • What is an average score range?

The average score ranges from 1-36 on both parts of this test: Math / Reading & Writing / Science (all scores together). These scores are based off data collected across all students who took these exams during one year’s time period only though — not just those who went on achieve success later down life road so don’t feel bad if yours isn’t quite up there yet 😉

Step 5: Complete additional application materials for certain programs.

You are eligible to apply if you have completed the following:

• A bachelor’s degree or higher from an institution accredited by a regional or national accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or comparable international agency and admission to one of the programs listed below:
