State Military Medical Corps

The Medical Corps is the largest corps in the SA Military Health Services. It consists of two divisions: The Medical Corps Division and the Nursing Division. The former is responsible for managing all medical personnel and health services in the SA Military Health Services, while the latter deals with nursing personnel only.

Division/Wing (SMF)

The Division is the basic unit of the military health services, the first line of defense of the nation. It is a part of a larger formation and can operate independently. A division is commanded by a Major General/Commander who reports to a corps headquarters or at higher levels directly to an area commander or service chief.
