The college application cycle is in full swing, and many students are wondering if their dream schools will accept them. While we can’t answer that question for you, we can shed light on some of the most popular academic institutions in the country. These colleges were all open to 2022 applications as of August 2021:

1. University of Arkansas

2. University of Pittsburgh

3. University of Texas at Austin

The University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin) is a public research university in Austin, Texas. Founded in 1883 as “The University of Texas,” its campus is located within the city limits of Austin–the fourth most populous city in the United States–and includes approximately 105 buildings on 1,445 acres (591.2 ha). UT Austin was inducted into the Association of American Universities in 1929, becoming only one of seven public universities with this distinction; and it remains an international leader in academic research.

4. Rutgers University

Rutgers University is a public research university in New Jersey. It was chartered as Queen’s College and first opened its doors to students on November 7, 1766. Rutgers University is the oldest institution of higher education in New Jersey and one of the oldest public institutions in the United States. Rutgers University-New Brunswick is part of a system that includes more than 100 academic degree programs at four campuses: Newark (Rutgers), New Brunswick (Rutgers), Camden (Rutgers) and Camden/Wyckoff (Rutgers).

The university has three campus locations: Newark, New Brunswick and Camden. The main campus is located in Piscataway Township near Edison, about 30 miles from both Philadelphia and New York City.

5. Indiana University Bloomington

Indiana University Bloomington is one of the most selective colleges in the country, but it also has a large, diverse student body. The school offers a variety of academic programs, including business and computer science as well as architecture and engineering. It has a strong reputation for academics across all majors.

It also boasts an athletic program that includes more than 270 teams (namely basketball) with over 2,000 participants per year. Moreover, there are almost 300 student organizations on campus ranging from academic clubs to religious groups to arts clubs such as dance troupes or musical bands.

6. Ohio State University – Columbus

7. Colorado State University

Colorado State University, also known as CSU, is a public research university located in Fort Collins, Colorado. It was founded in 1870 and offers over 200 undergraduate programs and 300 graduate programs through its nine colleges. CSU has over 30,000 students enrolled and over 6 million alumni members worldwide.

CSU is one of 64 land-grant institutions established under the Morrill Act of 1862 to provide higher education for people from rural areas who wanted to study agriculture or engineering related fields. The school was founded as an agricultural college with classes taught by teachers experienced in agriculture so that students could learn how to farm more effectively on their own property once they graduated from college (hence the name).

Today CSU focuses primarily on research activities rather than teaching within its departments and schools across campus; however it continues its commitment to providing quality education opportunities for those interested in pursuing a degree at least partially related to science fields such as biology or physics (just take a look at all those buildings named after scientists!).

8. Texas A&M University-College Station

Texas A&M University is a public research university in College Station, Texas. The university is a part of the Texas A&M University System, which is one of the largest systems of higher education in the United States.

The school was founded on October 1, 1876 as the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas. In 1883 it became Texas A&M College and was renamed as such in 1959 when it joined what would become known as the Texas A&M University System.

Texas A&M has produced more than 385,000 graduates since its founding with more than 100,000 students currently enrolled at its several campuses around Central Texas including over 27,000 on-campus students at its flagship campus located just outside Bryan/College Station (about an hour north of Austin).

9. New York University – Manhattan Campus

New York University – Manhattan Campus is one of the most expensive colleges in the country, but it’s also one of the best. With a large student body and multiple campuses all over New York City, NYU has a variety of classes for students to choose from. The university is ranked as a top-tier university and has an excellent reputation for its liberal arts curriculum, which focuses on general education rather than specific majors or career paths. Additionally, many courses at this school are offered in a hybrid format (online + in-person). However, if you’re looking for something outside of academia or humanities related fields—and don’t mind paying more than $60K per year—NYU may be an ideal choice for you!

10. Boston College

Boston College is a private research university located in the Chestnut Hill neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. It is nonsectarian and coeducational. The school has more than 9,500 full-time undergraduates and nearly 5,000 graduate students on its three campuses: Chestnut Hill, Newton (adjacent to Greater Boston), and Worcester (90 miles west of Boston). It operates as a liberal arts institution with a comprehensive curriculum.

Boston College offers undergraduate degrees in 56 majors across the schools of Arts & Sciences; Business Administration; Nursing; Education; Engineering; Communication & Science Technologies; Health Sciences; Law School – Students enrolled at BC Law may choose one of three degree tracks: 1) legal education (JD); 2) law combined with business administration or public policy (LLM); 3) dual degree in law combined with another major from any department on campus (JD/MBA).

Boston College’s academic programs are divided into seven schools: Carroll School of Management; Lynch School of Education (previously known as Curry College); Connell School for Nursing and Health Professions; Gabelli School for Business Administration & Economics ; Lynch School of Education ; Departmental Programs , which includes the English Language Institute ; Self-Designed Major Program

The university has approximately 11,450 international students representing over 139 countries around the world

11. Georgia Institute of Technology-Main Campus

Georgia Institute of Technology-Main Campus is a public college located in Atlanta, GA. The school has a student population of approximately 33,000 and a student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1.

12. Florida State University- Tallahassee Campus

Florida State University- Tallahassee Campus is a public college.

It is open for 2022 applications, and it is a great academic institution.

13. Pennsylvania State University-University Park Campus

Penn State is a public research university with a strong reputation in engineering, agriculture, and education. It has more than 100 different degree programs to choose from across its 24 campuses, which are spread throughout the state of Pennsylvania.

The University Park Campus is home to the main administration offices of Penn State as well as many academic buildings and residence halls where students live their freshman year before moving off campus for their remaining years at the school.

14. Purdue University-Main Campus-West Lafayette, IN

Purdue University-Main Campus-West Lafayette, IN

A public research university located in West Lafayette, Indiana, Purdue has an enrollment of more than 40,000 students and a student-to-faculty ratio of 18:1. The school was founded in 1869 by John Purdue as the first public university in Indiana. The school continues to be ranked among the top 100 universities worldwide by Times Higher Education World University Rankings and QS World University Rankings.

In addition to undergraduate programs that are open for admission during 2022 application cycle, Purdue also offers master’s degrees online through its College of Technology (COT). COT offers two types of online master’s degrees:

• Master of Science in Engineering Management – students will gain leadership skills needed for technical management positions within engineering firms or government agencies through coursework focusing on topics such as project management methods; business strategy development; financial analysis techniques; organizational behavior theory; decision making models

While it’s good to know which colleges have the best campus life and low cost, you should also consider what type of student you are.
