Nmu Online Application 2022 Opening Date

NMU 2022 Applicants can apply online at naledi.nmu.ac.za or at any NMU campus. You can apply for NMU 2022 at any NMU campus in South Africa or abroad, but you must submit your application forms and documents before the closing date of the application process.

If you wish to apply from outside South Africa, please contact the International Office on +27 828992045 or email international@nmu.ac.za for further information regarding fees and documentation requirements for your specific country/institution prior to submitting your application form via this website (wwwnaledi) as they do not accept applications by post/email from overseas applicants without prior arrangements being made with them first!

What are the admission requirements?

There is a minimum requirement of five subjects in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), including two passes in English and Mathematics.

You must also pass one science subject from Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Agricultural Science.

Applicants should also have a pass in any one of the following languages: Kiswahili, Arabic, French or Portuguese.

National Senior Certificate (NSC) with university endorsement

The National Senior Certificate (NSC) with university endorsement is the basic requirement for admission to NMU. University endorsement is not required for admission to NMU, but it is necessary if you need to be enrolled in a specific course at the institution.

To qualify for university endorsement, students must achieve an average of 50% or higher on their NSC certificate with no subjects below 40%. If you have any subjects that fall below this threshold, they will be considered separately when assessing your application.

If you haven’t completed Grade 12 yet, you can still apply to study at Nelson Mandela University in 2020. You will receive a Conditional Letter of Acceptance from the institution. This means that your registration is dependent on you attaining the required final results for your chosen programme at the end of Grade 12. A conditional offer is not a guarantee of acceptance once your final results are in.

Closing

The Nelson Mandela University application form is now open.  Applicants are required to submit all information and documents which include a valid ID document, proof of residence and academic transcripts within 30 days from the date of registration.
