The Central University of Technology (CUT) is a public university in Zimbabwe. It was established by an Act of Parliament in 2000, as one of seven State-funded universities. It is the only institution that offers technology-related education in the whole country and serves as a training ground for engineers, technicians and artisans in various disciplines.

Visit the Central University of Technology (CPUT) website at https://www.cput.ac.za/ and click on “Apply to CPUT” which will take you to their application portal.

Make sure you have your ID number, a copy of your 2022 matric certificate and proof that you have completed Grade 12 (i.e., a letter from the school). If not, then complete it before submitting your online application as these documents will be required when uploading documents into your account via email or fax upon submission of an application by post or courier service

Online application process:

• Create a Login account on the Central University of Technology Online Application website using your email address and password. If you do not have an account, please register first. You can register here: https://www.cautonlineapp.co.za/register/.
• Once you have created your account, please go to our website https://www.cautonlineapp.co.za/ and navigate to the “Apply” page where you will see all available programmes available for application including Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Diploma and Certificate programmes (please note that only selected programmes will be visible). Select a programme depending on whether it is for an Undergraduate or Postgraduate Degree or Diploma or Certificate Degree qualification as applicable (please also note under each programme there are specific fields that must be completed before submitting).
• Select Apply Now button then click Next button below course details window; select First Choice institution from drop down list option then click Next button below institution details window; select HND/Diploma 1st year from drop down list option then click Next button below level requirement window; enter full name, contact number & mobile number in appropriate fields then click Submit button at bottom right corner of form immediately after entering information above mentioned; finally wait until system confirms receipt of all correct documents electronically by sending mail upon completion of documents submission process successfully!

How to track progress of application

You may track the progress of your application by logging in to SIS and clicking on “My Applications” at any time during enrolment period. Alternatively you can visit www.myportal.cputonline.co.za/secureaccess where all applicants are able to view their status details through a pop-up window displaying all relevant information about their applications such as: Application Number; Admission Date; Registration Date; Stage 1 Assessment Result and more.
